Barroux
Barroux was born in Paris but spent most of his childhood in North Africa. Back in France, after several years in art school, he became an artistic director in advertising agencies. But always with itchy feet, he took off and moved to Canada, then the United States. He started there a brilliant press and youth illustrator career and worked for many magazines, including the New York Times, Washington Post, Forbes. He also published several books for children, including at Viking Penguin Putnam Books.
Hosted by the taste of color and fantasy, Barroux works its illustrations traditionally, mixing linocut, graphite, acrylic…
