Blexbolex

After entering the Angoulême School of Fine Arts in 1984 with the intention of becoming a painter, Blexbolex graduated six years later as a serigrapher. Over the years, he developed a very marked graphic design and chromaticism evoking the stencil technique. He works regularly with several major publishing houses in France and Germany. In 2009, he received the “Prize for the most beautiful book in the world” at the Leipzig Book Fair for his Imagier des gens (Albin Michel Jeunesse), and in 2017 the Golden Nugget at the Montreuil Book Fair for Nos vacances. Les magiciens, published by the young publishing house La Partie, is in line with his art: images of great richness, which accompany a breathless text.
