Irène Bonacina
Born in Paris in 1984, Irène Bonacina studied at the Estienne School, Decorative Arts in Strasbourg and Fine Arts in Bratislava. Since 2009, she has published around twenty albums and novels with publishers such as Gallimard Jeunesse, Albin Michel Jeunesse, L’école des loisirs, Didier Jeunesse, Les Éditions des Éléphants, Bayard.
Irène Bonacina is artist in residence in Manosque and Forcalquier in 2011, at the French Institute of Oujda (Morocco) in 2013, at the André-François Center in 2015 and at the Pablo Neruda media library in Malakoff in 2020. In 2014 she collaborates with Arte, Upian, and Alegria production for the 24H Jerusalem project. Her work is regularly presented in personal or collective exhibitions in France and abroad.
