Pierre Alexis

As a child, two types of books fascinated Pierre Alexis: animal magazines and traditional tales. He practiced veterinary medicine for ten years, before undertaking illustration studies at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels. The natural sciences and animal representations in literature remain sources of astonishment and inspiration for him.

His album Règlobus, published by La Partie, is a small animal party painted with acrylic and punctuated by funny poems.
