The four seasons

In the works of Fleur Oury and Fanny Ducassé, nature always plays the leading roles and, from album to album, they explore it to the rhythm of the seasons. It’s autumn with its fiery colors, where we exchange comforting recipes and sweet words. It’s spring and buds are abounding, also announcing to everyone that it’s time to grow. It’s summer with its sun-drenched plants, ideal for adventures in the woods, sometimes even in the mildness of the night…

Galerie Robillard has supported these two talented illustrators since their beginnings. Throughout their books and the exhibitions that resulted from them, they affirmed their style of great finesse and their universe, which is widely recognized today. A universe in which beings are intimately linked to their environment, testifying to a global conception of life that is more essential today than ever.

To mark the 10th anniversary of this collaboration, we are pleased to present a selection of original illustrations, taken from their albums Rose and Célestine, An Autumn with M. Henri and The Rat, the Tit and the Gardener (Fanny Ducassé) and Where Did the Birds Go?, Sunday and Hello Spring (Fleur Oury). They will be supplemented by a set of previously unpublished drawings.
