Once upon a time: Andersen and the Grimm brothers’ tales

This exhibition is an invitation to a fairytale, an enchanted island… Among the tales of Andersen, inspired by popular legends, Cecile Landowski has chosen to illustrate eight: The Ugly Duckling, The Emperor’s New Clothes, The lighter, The tin soldier, Thumbelina, The nightingale, The fir, The tree and the shepherdess and the Chimney sweep. And among the tales of the Brothers Grimm, Cecile also illustrated eight: Little red Riding hood, the brave little tailor, Hansel and Gretel, The bear and the wren, Devil in the three golden hair, The little louse and the small flea, The frog King, The golden goose.
